Subject: Text Message Phishing Scam
The Utah Division of Consumer Protection has reported a recent phishing scam involving text messages sent to cell phones. The message states that your ATM card has been suspended and that you need to call to reactivate. If you call, you are asked for your bank account number, social security number, and PIN.
Do not respond to this text message - it's a scam. If you receive a text message like this, you are encouraged to file a complaint with The Utah Division of Consumer Protection
